Peter Navarro, trade advisor for former President Donald Trump, said that the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic could have been prevented if only Dr. Anthony Fauci had spoken up about the Wuhan lab.
According to Navarro, millions died because of Fauci’s refusal to share his knowledge about the origin of COVID-19.
Navarro’s book “In Trump Time: My Journal of America’s Plague Year” talks about the COVID-19 pandemic from inside the Trump administration. The former White House director of trade and manufacturing policy said that he wants to help “get Fauci out of government and into a jail cell.”
Host Alex Marlow interviewed Navarro on SiriusXM’s “Breitbart News Daily” to talk about the book, in which Navarro claimed that America suffered millions of casualties during the pandemic because Fauci “withheld information regarding his approval of funding for gain-of-function research in the Wuhan Institute of Virology.”
According to Navarro, Fauci is a “toxic” man, a sociopath and a narcissist. While Fauci lied to Rand Paul and Congress about gain-of-function experimentations, Navarro said his “lie of omission” was worse.
Back in January, Fauci “strongly suspected” that COVID-19 came from a lab in Wuhan. Fauci also didn’t admit to the president’s task force that he funded the lab and that he authorized gain-of-function experiments that could turn “harmless bat viruses into human killers,” Navarro related.
There’s no denying that if Fauci had spoken up during the early days of the pandemic, the task force would have been able to save millions of lives. Navarro also said Fauci was against travel bans to the U.S. from any country as early as January last year.
On January 28, 2020, Navarro said Trump decided that he would “pull down travel from communist China.” But Fauci, former White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney, former Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Robert Redfield and former Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar interfered with Trump’s intent to implement a travel ban.
At the meeting in the Situation Room, Fauci gave Navarro trouble for his suggestion to enforce a travel ban. Navarro said he immediately got into a “violent argument” with Fauci because the latter kept saying that travel bans were ineffective.
Navarro explained that if an estimated 20,000 Chinese nationals come in every day to Kennedy and Dulles and LAX and O’Hare, with many of them positive for COVD-19, infections would spread across the country.
According to Navarro, Fauci just kept saying travel bans don’t work and even told Trump not to worry about COVID-19.
Navarro believes the possibility that the Chinese released COVID-19 on purpose as part of a broader geopolitical strategy to cripple the Trump administration and America. (Related: Fauci KNEW COVID-19 is a biological weapon created in Wuhan lab but chose not to tell Trump – Brighteon.TV.)
In the end, Navarro said that it doesn’t matter if COVID-19 was accidentally released from the Wuhan lab because China’s actions after the discovery of the virus were more important. The Chinese made sure that the infectious disease “would become a pandemic that would eventually kill millions worldwide.”
